Job Description

This is a remote position.

Core Technical Skills Required:

· Full-stack development with 5+ years proven experience in React, Node.js, and database management

· Backend and API development expertise (REST APIs, authentication systems, server-side architecture)

· Database proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL systems

· Frontend skills including responsive design and state management: React (or Next.js), Vue.js, Angular

Advanced Technical Competencies:

· Serverless architecture and microservices experience

· Familiarity with PWAs, JAMstack, and low-code/no-code workflows

· Scalable system design with modular architectures and event-driven patterns

· Experience with WebAssembly/WebSockets

· Programming languages: JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript, Node.js/Python/Java

Essential Qualities:

· Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities

· Continuous-learning mindset to stay current with evolving technologies

· Ability to work independently and hit the ground running from day one

Nice to Have:

· Experience with CRMs like HubSpot or Zoho would be a bonus given our marketing integration needs

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Web design/development

Computer skills: To be successful in this role, a candidate must have strong full-stack development skills with a focus on modern JavaScript and TypeScript-based frameworks. Proficiency in  Next.js 14+with the App Router is essential, as it's the core framework used for both frontend and backend logic. The ideal candidate should be comfortable building UI components in  React 18+ , styling with  Tailwind CSS , and managing application state using tools  like  Zustand ,  React Query , and  tRPC . A deep understanding of  TypeScript is required for writing safe, maintainable code across the stack. On the backend, experience with  Node.js ,  Prisma ORM , and  PostgreSQL is critical for building scalable APIs and managing data. Familiarity with  Netlify Functions ,  CI/CD workflows , and environment variable management is important for deployment and configuration. Comfort with  Git/GitHub is expected for version control and collaboration. Bonus points for skills in 3D rendering with  Three.js , performance tuning using  Core Web Vitals , SEO optimization in Next.js, and integrations with third-party APIs like  HubSpot or  OpenAI . Experience with  monitoring tools such as Sentry or OpenTelemetry is also valuable. This role is best suited for a  mid- to senior-level developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in modern full-stack application development.
