Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Remote Design Verification Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying complex digital designs, developing test benches, and ensuring that hardware systems meet functional specifications. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while collaborating with a distributed team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute verification plans for complex ASIC, FPGA, or SoC designs.
Create, implement, and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and reusable verification components.
Perform simulation-based verification, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification.
Debug design and verification issues, collaborating closely with RTL designers.
Develop automated test scripts and regression environments.
Ensure compliance with functional specifications and performance requirements.
Contribute to design reviews and provide feedback on design quality and testability.
Document verification processes, results, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in design verification (ASIC/FPGA/SoC).
Strong expertise with SystemVerilog, UVM, or similar verification methodologies.
Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, Mentor Questa).
Solid understanding of digital design, RTL coding, and hardware architectures.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
